    • A newly created laboratory space for molecular biology and protein preparation

    • A joint Birkbeck/UCL Centre for Biophysics, housing instrumentation for calorimetry, analytical ultra-centrifugation, CD, UV-vis and fluorescence spectroscopies, including stop and quench flow systems.

  • UCL Biomolecular NMR Centre
    • 500MHz, 600MHz and 700Mhz spectrometers for biomolecular NMR

  • MRC Biomedical NMR Centre
    • A national centre for biological NMR providing acces to fields from 600-800MHz.

  • The Hive - High performance Compute Cluster for Biosciences
    • 160-core Opteron cluster with 320GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. MPI capable with gigabit ethernet switching.

  • UCL Parallel Computing Service
    • High performace machines with a variety of parallel architectures.
