Windows versions: resolve GIMP regarding GTK errors when running from
bat scripts.  Only seems to affect some (broken?) GIMP/GTK installs.
Linux version doesnt have these problems, I guess the Windows port of
GIMP/GTK is not perfect, especially in non-interactive mode.

Improve shadow layer processing. Any way to do it all in PovRay?
 -- the problem is I still get small shadows from spheres onto 
themselves. Also, due to position of the 2 lights I tend to get 
more shadows at lower right of protein. Some way to prevent 
shadows of spheres onto themselves, whilst allowing shadows onto 
*other* spheres in Povray would solve this.
