Thats about it. The machine then tries to boot, and doesnt find much, we better install an OS or two!
NOTES/TODO: PCI cards etc. Front USB ports. Drivers etc. Check we're running at full AGPx4. Run SiSoft Sandra + PCMark2001 benchmarks and tests. WindowsXP poor driver support for onboard sis735/AC97 sound? Update:The sound drivers off the retail CD work fine. Might still use the SB live so I get my surround sound back.

XP does not recognise the Diamond Supra SST 56i PCI modem (it sets it to be generic, then doesnt work). However, updated drivers are available at diamondmm.com, and work without a hitch.
As mentioned in the newsgroups, the CMOS bios settings are liable to go awol occasionally, and I've have this happen once already. Possibly fixed by a bios update?
Onboard sound goes awol in XP after coming back from sleep mode. Again, the newsgroups say this is fixed by some upgrade (bios I think).
